Mexc withdrawals: KYC limits and release requirements
· last updated
Mexc withdrawals use verification-based daily limits, while account holds and network availability determine whether funds can leave the account. The published June 2026 personal crypto ceilings are 80 BTC per day with Primary KYC and 200 BTC per day with Advanced KYC. Each transfer also needs an available balance and compatible receiving details. For on-chain withdrawals, processing, blockchain confirmations, and destination crediting determine when the transfer reaches a receiving account.
The withdrawal form shows the selected asset's available balance, minimum withdrawal, fee, and 24-hour limit. Those fields govern the proposed request. After submission, its status and the receiving account show how far the transfer has progressed.
KYC ceilings and the allowance available now
The verification tier sets a published ceiling, while the allowance displayed in the account governs the proposed withdrawal. Know Your Customer (KYC) verification identifies the account holder. Under the June 2026 personal rules, Primary KYC has an 80 BTC daily crypto withdrawal limit. Advanced KYC has a published daily crypto withdrawal ceiling of 200 BTC in the June 2026 personal verification rules. These ceilings use BTC as their quoted unit, while the asset-specific withdrawal form determines the amount that the account can request.
Institutional verification has a separate published ceiling of up to 400 BTC within 24 hours under its July 2026 rules. That allowance applies to approved institutional accounts. It does not establish a personal account's available balance or remove restrictions attached to particular funds.
Crypto withdrawal ceilings and fiat withdrawal allowances follow separate rules.
Verification approval and regional access
An approved verification level establishes the relevant account status; submitting documents alone does not establish approval. The Identification area on the website and the profile in the app display the account's verification status. Primary verification requires identity document details and photos, while Advanced verification also requires facial verification. The document's issuing country, document type, and submitted information must match the application.
Regional requirements can restrict deposits, withdrawals, and trading when verification remains incomplete. Completing KYC also does not override geographic access restrictions. A withdrawal prompt that requires real-name verification therefore calls for an account-specific response. An old allowance advertised for unverified accounts does not establish permission to withdraw from an account displaying that restriction. Under the September 29, 2026 notice, Netherlands-linked accounts are being offboarded in batches. Each affected account's email gives its dates. Withdraw before the assigned account restriction date; contact Mexc customer service for withdrawal assistance afterward. New P2P trades, fiat off-ramps, and transfers to other Mexc accounts become unavailable from that date; existing P2P orders and appeals continue until resolved.
Deposits that are tradable before they are withdrawable
A recent deposit can become tradable before it becomes withdrawable on networks that support pre-crediting. A deposit in Pre-Crediting remains unavailable for withdrawal until it reaches full crediting. Additional blockchain confirmations move the deposit toward Credited Successfully. The relevant confirmation requirements follow the deposit's network conditions. A higher verification tier does not supply missing confirmations, and a visible trading balance does not establish that a recent deposit has cleared this restriction.
A successfully credited deposit may appear in the futures wallet instead of the spot wallet, depending on its routing. Deposit details and internal transfer records help explain where it went. Checking the withdrawal form's available balance avoids confusing holdings elsewhere in the account with funds available for this request.
Destination details that the transfer requires
The receiving account must accept the selected asset on the exact network chosen for withdrawal. Address requirements remain relevant even when the available balance and KYC allowance cover the requested amount.
Matching the network
Some tokens support withdrawals through multiple networks. The recipient may accept only some of those networks. An identical ticker or a familiar-looking address does not establish compatibility. Network selection therefore comes before fee comparison. If the selected withdrawal channel is closed, its availability remains a separate constraint from the account's daily limit.
Address, memo, and activation requirements
A receiving platform may require a memo or tag alongside the address. That field helps it assign the transfer to the correct account. Some token and network combinations also require an activated recipient address; the withdrawal process can display a corresponding prompt. An Invalid Address message requires correction or support assistance before submission. Saved address labels help identify recipients, while the actual address, asset, network, and memo determine the transfer destination.
What determines the cost of a crypto withdrawal?
The selected asset and network determine the quoted withdrawal fee, while the withdrawal form displays the amount applicable to the request. The quoted on-chain withdrawal fee can change with network conditions. A fee described as fixed for a transfer is therefore not a permanent price for every future withdrawal. Read the fee's unit alongside the requested amount; the minimum withdrawal and daily allowance remain separate constraints.
Across compatible networks, compare the charge for the same asset and withdrawal amount. Trading-fee promotions do not establish the charge for sending funds out. A receiving platform may also impose its own deposit requirements or deduct charges when returning a transfer.
Withdrawal settings that change release conditions
Account security settings can restrict destinations, delay withdrawals, or change verification requirements independently of KYC. Their effects depend on the particular setting that is active.
Address whitelist and new-address delay
An enabled Withdrawal Whitelist limits withdrawals to saved, whitelisted addresses. With Whitelist Security Restriction enabled, a newly added address requires a 24-hour wait. Disabling that restriction after enabling it also requires a 24-hour wait before withdrawals can resume.
Withdrawal Protection
Withdrawal Protection rejects all on-chain withdrawals during the selected lock period. Unlock Early permits early release only when enabled during setup. A larger KYC allowance does not shorten this chosen lock period or change its scope.
Fast Withdrawal verification settings
Fast Withdrawal configures a user-selected threshold for withdrawals without routine two-factor authentication. The app's guidance describes small withdrawals to whitelisted addresses. A customized threshold takes effect after 24 hours; verification remains necessary beforehand. Mexc can still request verification because of the account's security status. This setting changes authentication requirements, while the daily ceiling and other release conditions remain relevant.
Cancellation depends on the request status
Pending requests can permit self-service cancellation; Processing requires support assistance. Cancellation becomes unavailable once the transfer reaches a blockchain confirmation stage.
Requests awaiting verification or review
Pending Verification means the request still requires confirmation. Under Review identifies manual review, and Pending Processing identifies a request awaiting system processing. Eligible requests in these early states show a cancellation control in withdrawal history. The current status matters when correcting an address or abandoning a request.
System processing
Processing removes the manual cancellation option, so a cancellation request at this stage requires customer-service assistance and may not succeed. A submitted support request therefore does not establish that the transfer has stopped.
Blockchain confirmation and recipient crediting
Pending Block Confirmation and Pending Blockchain Confirmation identify transfers awaiting blockchain progress. Withdrawal Successful establishes that Mexc sent the assets to the specified address. It does not establish that a receiving platform has credited the account. The transaction ID, or TxID, identifies the transfer for checking its network status and discussing missing credit with the recipient.
Decisions for a transfer to an external account
For predictable transfer costs, compare the displayed fee for the same asset and amount across networks that the recipient accepts. Use the selected asset's fully credited balance and current account allowance when deciding whether to submit.
- If the amount meets the displayed minimum and remaining allowance, confirm sufficient available funds, an open compatible network, and matching destination details. Submit with any required security verification only when account and address restrictions also permit the transfer.
- If the selected channel is closed, wait for reopening or use another open network that supports the asset and that the receiving account accepts.
- If a pending request remains stalled without a TxID, retain its record and ask Mexc support to investigate.
- If the transfer has reached blockchain confirmation, cancellation cannot recall it; if the receiving platform's required confirmations have been met but the transfer remains uncredited, ask that platform to investigate.
- Confirm receipt through the actual receiving balance, matching the transfer's network, destination, and transaction details.
An exchange completion notice establishes the sending platform's status. Blockchain confirmation records the network transfer. The receiving account's credit record establishes that the recipient received the transfer.
Account review and restricted-funds exits
A risk-control restriction can require Advanced KYC and additional documents for an account review. Credential changes, automated risk controls, and compliance requirements can impose withdrawal holds. Some security restrictions last 24 hours, while the risk-control policy permits shorter, longer, or permanent restrictions. Account Risk Review provides a submission route. Its review duration and outcome are not guaranteed, so an elapsed waiting period alone does not establish restored permission.
A withdrawal restriction caused by incomplete real-name verification has a separate appeal route when verification cannot be completed. Approval of a Withdrawal Appeal Form leaves withdrawal and position-closing permissions only. Other account functions remain unavailable. This exit permission differs from restoring ordinary account access.
Restricted deposits awaiting credit use an Application for Return when the holder cannot complete real-name verification.
Internal transfers, P2P sales, and bank withdrawals
An internal transfer sends crypto to another Mexc account through the recipient's email address, mobile number, or UID. This supported route carries no network withdrawal fee. The assets remain in exchange custody, so the recipient receives an exchange-account balance instead of assets in an external wallet. Its eligibility conditions still matter.
A peer-to-peer (P2P) sale exchanges an eligible cryptoasset for payment from another user. Primary KYC is required, and the payment account must match the verified holder's name. The website route requires the crypto to be available in the Fiat Wallet. Available offers, payment methods, and order conditions govern this cash exit. Non-merchant P2P buyers can face T+1 or T+2 holds based on KYC nationality and verification. These block withdrawal and P2P resale of the purchased crypto, without suspending Spot or Futures trading. The timer starts when the purchase order is marked Completed. Read any restriction notice and ask Mexc support to confirm the release time if it is unclear. Mexc's published P2P terms list zero platform trading fees; a payment service provider may still impose charges. Confirm the buyer's payment in your bank or payment account balance before releasing the crypto.
Bank withdrawals use separate fiat rules. EUR transfers through SEPA require Advanced KYC, additional verification, and a prior fiat deposit in supported countries or regions. For SEPA, choose a receiving bank account previously used for fiat deposits. The May 2026 SEPA guide lists a 20,000 EUR per-transaction maximum and a 200,000 EUR daily maximum. USD bank transfers through SWIFT support eligible users with identity or address documents from supported countries or regions. This route sends a USD fiat-account balance to a bank account. The October 2026 guide requires Advanced KYC before fiat deposits and lists a daily limit of up to the equivalent of 20,000 USD. Currency-specific eligibility, quoted fees, and fiat limits determine which bank route the account can use. For SWIFT withdrawals, confirm receipt in the bank account; a completed Mexc order does not establish that the bank has credited the funds.
Mexc withdrawals questions, answered
How long can KYC review take before my withdrawal limit changes?
KYC review can finish within 15 minutes under normal conditions, while some applications take 8 to 24 hours because of document complexity or review volume. Approval must complete before the requested verification tier applies. That review window does not establish a transfer arrival time or lift a separate account hold.
Can I apply directly for Advanced KYC to obtain a higher withdrawal ceiling?
Yes, Mexc allows direct applications for Advanced KYC without first completing Primary KYC, provided the applicant completes the identity-document and facial-verification requirements and receives approval before relying on the higher withdrawal ceiling.
Does an internal transfer make pre-credited funds available sooner?
Full crediting requires additional blockchain confirmations, which an internal transfer does not replace. The July 2026 pre-crediting guide lists withdrawals, transfers, fiat withdrawals, gifts, and sub-account transfers as restricted until then. A separate crypto-deposit guide mentions internal transfers during pre-crediting without specifying their scope, so availability for a particular internal route remains unclear. The absence of an external network fee does not change that confirmation requirement.
What happens if a withdrawal omits a required memo or tag?
A missing or incorrect memo can prevent the receiving platform from crediting a transfer that reaches its address. After cancelling an eligible pending withdrawal, submit a new request with the correct memo or tag. After sending, provide the TxID to the receiving platform's support team to request recovery; successful recovery is not assured.
When will a returned withdrawal reappear in my Mexc balance?
A withdrawal returned to Mexc by the receiving platform reappears after manual crediting. Use Uncredited Crypto Deposit and select Deposit to another platform returned to MEXC. Provide the return information that this recovery option requests. The returned amount can differ from the original withdrawal because the receiving platform may deduct fees.
Do I need a new account to obtain institutional withdrawal limits?
An individual account cannot convert to institutional KYC under the same account. Institutional verification requires a new account and an approved institutional application. The separate institutional ceiling applies after approval, and each company registration number can verify only one institutional account.
